Sinclair Bush is so pretty at this time of year!

Thanksgiving Camping 2020

 Happy Thanksgiving!

As tradition (since 2018) we have gone Thanksgiving Camping at the Pinery.

It's usually fun, when its not incredibly cold. Last year was very cold, this year wasn't as cold, so that was nice! Friday night we left after Dad got home from work (about 6 he was home, but we left at like 6:30) and we set up in the dark and had a fire for a bit then went to bed. On Saturday, Matt & Jess came out for lunch and supper and we had a great time with them! On Sunday we didn't end up going to church because of new Thanksgiving COVID rules, so instead we had family worship and then continued our day. On Monday, my family did a polar plunge, I was the photographer by choice 😊.

Here are some of my favorite photos that have people in them:

Our lights that are set up all over our campsite

The way to the beach, and V taking a pic

My name faintly written in the sand

Ellia in the "lookout"

Trail to the beach

While V, Ellia and I went dune-climbing,
Cass and Moriah stayed on the beach and looked for cool rocks.

Ellia dancing on the sunny sand area above and behind our campsite.

Cass climbing their tree

First family photo.

Thanksgiving camping was good. A bit cold, but not as cold as last year! 😁
Dad tried to put in the water again, and that, for me, ending sorta badly. I got nice and sandy.
I have many scenery photos, but there is a lot of them! I never knew that a piece of wood and a stone or a leaf could prove to be fun! So, I'll do another post with those!

The First Nature Walk of almost Fall

Oh, the fun of Sinclair Bush. The scary bridge that we love to cross, the mud and burrs that just stick to us, and the stream.

Mom decided that we needed to go for a walk. So, rather than walking down the road, we drove to Sinclair Bush (about 2 min drive).

Welcome to Sinclair Bush!
The best trail (in my opinion) around here!

The nature is gorgeous!

Streams are always fun to play in 😀

The sun was shining in very prettily.

About 5 yards in.

Ah, the stream ... the mud ... the fun 😀

A side stream

V, M & E walked in the stream.

I like this picture, you have the stream, the dirt, and the wildlife.

The water was very pretty and not super cold either

I like this one too

Yes, this is a bridge; no, not the famous one.
We found out, that our beloved scary bridge is now no more.
Instead someone else decided to make a bridge, but its not as fun 😔😢

The remains of our beloved bridge.

Goodbye bridge!
All the wood that collapsed.

I thought this was cool.

I have no idea what these berries are, does anyone?

Or these.

I like dis one.

Mom wanted a picture of us on the log (our second "bridge")

We convinced Mom to cross

Hugging the log 😂

On the opposite side of this dam (?), we went
climbing with some friends a few years back.

The other stream that separates the other corn field on the back of the trail.

The corn field.

We think this was a mushroom. (?)

This, in my opinion, is one of the prettiest spots in the bush!
There was even a purple light (how? dunno) coming through too!

The tree has been loved by some woodpeckers 😀

We weren't exactly in Sinclair Bush, we were in a 4-wheeler trail, that we didn't follow. The trail is way better than actually going into Sinclair Bush (we went down the first trail).

A rotten tree

More berries (and I just realized that there is a spider there 😐)

I like these flowers.

Goodbye bush! Looking forward to next time 😊

And that is pretty much our nature walk.

The stream

The prettiest area in the road in the fall.

Well, we love our bush. It is always exciting to go there, especially after not being there all summer!
