Trail Walk

While Mom and Dad were in Mexico, we decided that a walk was in order. So, on Monday, our first day actually home at Pake and Beppe's, we took walk in the bush near us. It was so nice out and we were soon out of our coats and hats.
Ellia and Joel walking through the bush. The sky was a clear blue with hardly a cloud in sight and there were leaves on the ground like it was October, not February.
In order to get from one part of the trail to the other, you must walk across a dilapidated bridge. (We'd love to fix it up, but since it is broken, the ATVs can't cross it which means that then they won't ruin the trail! So if we do fix it, we'll fix not quite enough for them.) This bridge is a sort of horror for most people over 13 years old, myself included, and so we watched as Ellia and Joel made their way across it and then moved on. To get over the stream, we'd cross a much safer log.
Moriah, Cassia, Ellia, and Joel crossing on the log. We didn't walk over it, we slid over it!

In any given setting, individual pictures are a great idea!

The bridge

The view from where I was sitting on the log. That thing is so big that you can lay on it! And it was so relaxing to be out there with the sun shining on you looking across beautiful brown water that is two feet water six feet mud...
All in all, it was an amazing day!!!
